In the ELLING training center at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Eastern Region, a training session was held on mastering practical skills “Protocol of ultrasound diagnostics E-FAST”.
Surgeons from the Dnipro City Clinical Hospital No. 6 completed the training here.
As the head of the training center, Oksana Popova, noted, the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Eastern Region became the first medical facility in which the E-FAST protocol was introduced. So it is not surprising that this clinical center became a training base for Dnipro doctors.
E-FAST is a protocol that allows, within 5 minutes, with a portable ultrasound machine, to decide on the further tactics of the patient’s treatment, to determine the extent of the damage and to provide adequate assistance.
